AID Description
AID is an Innovative Real Time, Air Quality Monitoring System. It consists of multiple measurement stations and a multi-agent network. The main goal of AID is to assess air quality and environmental conditions. This will support decision making and implementation for public health protection and mitigation of air pollution. Fuzzy logic is used to assess and perceive the current environmental conditions. Uses internet and mobile apps to inform users with the appropriate messages and indicators. Determines the best actions to take towards air pollution mitigation and public health protection. Implements appropriate interventions to control critical air pollution events. AID uses real-time monitoring and fuzzy logic to assess air quality conditions. This is done to protect public health and provide continuous information via internet and mobile application (Air-Polis), as well as to suggest the appropriate actions to reduce air pollution critical events.
