Our new flagship product, the Cloud Core Router 2216, is now available! Its powerful 16-core CPU can compete with the powerful 72-core Tile CPU from our previous flagship, the CCR1072. The Marvell Prestera Aldrin2 switch chip really takes it to the next level, with L3 Hardware offloading! The previous CCR2116 had a switch-chip that had four 10G CPU connection lines. This time, there are four 25G lines! There are two QSFP28 cages that provide 100 Gigabit connectivity at blazing speeds, twelve SFP28 cages that allow for 25 Gigabit networking and a Gigabit Ethernet connection. The device has 16 GB RAM, decent NAND storage, two M.2 SATA slot slots, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. There are four hot-swappable fans and dual-redundant hot–swap power sources. These PSUs may look familiar if your CCR1072 has been used before. You can continue to use your existing hot-swap power supply and SFP modules.
