Calibration Studio has key advantages over manual Calibration. Calibration Studio uses a workflow-based approach to calibration, inspection. The key functionalities include instrument management, master management, instrument management, receive instrument, inspect instrument, and generate certificate. Final functions include Type A and TypeB uncertainty calculations, certificate display and printing, and certificate printing. The Auditor can see the measurement results, uncertainty numbers and other information that can be used to decide whether or not to accept the instrument. Instruments that are rejected are returned for calibration or repairs. The accepted instruments are returned to the department for future use. The Meta data configuration functionality provides administrators to configure Customer Information, Units, Master Category, Instrument Category/sub category, Measurement methodology, and Certificate fields/notes/remarks.
