Artificial Intelligence is used to identify guns early to save lives. The US Army's AI technology that developed the Exigent(r-GR gun detection capability was used by Arcarithm. This technology was originally designed to detect both guns and drones. It is based on the idea that larger operational spaces allow for faster reaction times. To identify gun threats, current security camera systems require human intervention. Even the most sophisticated security cameras cannot provide 100% real time observation. It is necessary to have a proactive, effective solution in order to identify guns before they enter buildings and are shot. Autonomously detects guns in people as soon as possible before shots are fired. AI algorithms instantly analyze imagery to determine type of gun (long gun or pistol). Notifies security personnel automatically via email or text message with information about the gun owner, their location, and the type of gun.
