MAGMASOFT Description

MAGMASOFT is an effective and comprehensive optimization tool that can be used to improve metal casting quality and reduce production costs. By utilizing the virtual Design of Experiments (DOE) and Autonomous Optimization methodology, robust process parameters and optimal casting layouts can be developed for all cast materials and processes, including heat treatment and melting metallurgy. MAGMASOFT® simulations can be used to create an automated virtual test plan using autonomous engineering™. This allows for the pursuit of different quality and cost goals simultaneously. Broad knowledge and tangible hands-on instructions/measures are generated considering design and process conditions for mold filling, solidification, and cooling. The results include residual stresses and distortions, microstructure formation and local properties.
