MyDefrag Description
MyDefrag is a free program that defragmentates all Windows systems starting with Windows 2000. MyDefragGUI provides a graphical user interface that allows for easy handling of the program. MyDefrag can defragment external storage media very quickly, with several optimization strategies and offers the highest data security. You can only input options using a script grammar. MyDefragGUI makes it easy to perform the operation. It also has additional functions, such as: It can be used to plan the defragmentation, store the personal settings, and configure the screensaver. Runs under Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003/MCE/Vista/X64/Server 2008/7. MyDefrag scans all files on the hard drive to determine if they're fragmented and where they're located. It currently uses inefficient Microsoft function calls. I hope to improve this by directly reading the FAT and MFT.
