ToolBook Description
ToolBook is an e-learning content authoring software for Microsoft Windows. It was originally released by Asymetrix Corporation in 1990. SumTotal Systems now owns it. ToolBook uses a book metaphor. A project file can be thought of as a book that contains pages of content. ToolBook content can be viewed in standalone Windows applications or published into HTML format for viewing within a Web Browser.
ToolBook 11.5, which was released in December 2012, is the final version. SumTotal has determined ToolBook is no longer being sold and will completely retire the product on January 1, 2022.
