Summary: For me Acumatica is a powerful accounting tools I love the Generic Data Inquiry and how it can extract data and option export it to Excel thru OData and used it dashboard with a very simple step.

Positive: Easy and simple to use and takes little time to training for the users to become comfortable with the tools because of the training materials and help articles available.

Negative: Little bit expensive

Copy function on G.I. has no replace option, Copy paste function is applicable when you created new Generic Inquiry Report.

Summary: I honestly am beyond pleased with this software. It has made my day to day and one off tasks so much easier. Communication and tasks are listed in one place so if someone else is working on a file they have all of the information right there.

Positive: Ease of use, everything you need in one place, eliminates the need for dozens of additional software's and spreadsheets, integrates with emails, create tasks and communicate all in one place.

Negative: It took a little while to learn, and understand, but the end result is 100% worth a few gray hairs

Summary: Good system, and great innovative ideas. Easy to set up and customize. Not a lot of programing needed.

Positive: Acumatica is always innovating and coming out with new features. There is a lot of information in the Acumatica Community Forum that will make it easier to implement new ideas.

Negative: Some features are lacking, specifically in the WMS.

Summary: Even with a few issues, overall the system is very effective and efficient. He makes life working on inventory much easier. When handling errors in the inventory, it helps to be able to dive deeper into the past and movements of the items. They make it easier to find out where the item may have lived in the past and correlate where the item could have been moved to. The inventory needs these types of tools.

Positive: The features I like the most, are the ease of use when transferring items to different locations and updating purchase orders. The system is built for an inventory specialist especially when doing investigations on inventory errors and finding more details about a product.

Negative: The system does have issues when backtracking or updating many items. The system doesn't allow for changing more than when one item at a time for each location. You always have to go back to the home page to use the inventory details link.

Summary: Its ability to be tailored to meet the specific needs of their businesses. The customization options allows to make custom workflows and processes suitable to our needs.

Positive: Its real time reporting and handling of multiple companies and currencies with a easy to use user interface proves it to be an excellent resource planner.

Negative: Integrations are limited and makes it harder to import/export data.

Summary: Easy to use and learn. Many ways to streamline current processes and gain visibility into company needs.

Positive: Acumatica has exceptional ease of use. Easy to import and export data. Dashboards to help guide the business.

Negative: Took some time to set up checks and some reports. Could use more instruction (templates) for this process.

Positive: Acumatica is highly scalable, accommodating the growth and changing needs of businesses. Whether it's adding users, expanding operations, or integrating new modules, It can scale to support the evolving demands of the organization.

Negative: As a cloud-based solution, it relies on a stable internet connection. If there are internet connectivity issues or disruptions, it can hinder access to critical business data and disrupt operations.

Summary: This is the go-to ERP software currently and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a highly customizable and comprehensive platform.

Positive: Acumatica is highly scalable, enabling businesses to add or remove users and applications as needed. This scalability makes it suitable for both small businesses and large enterprises, accommodating their changing needs over time.
It also has a high degree of customization, allowing businesses to tailor the system to their specific requirements. This flexibility is beneficial as it enables organizations to align the ERP solution with their unique processes and workflows.

Negative: Implementing it can be a time consuming process when considering customizations and data migration.

Summary: Overall, Acumatica offers a great balance of features that empower businesses to grow and future-proof their technology stack.

Positive: Acumatica has intuitive features that give users easy access to the transactions and data they need to efficiently complete tasks. Specifically, the sidebar is essentially a window that offers a glance into a related record or transaction eliminating the need to navigate away from the primary screen used for a task.

Negative: The interface is not as pretty as what you might hope to see if you are an avid user of online services and SaaS products. Although not essential for business, pretty interfaces help make long workdays easier to weather.

Negative: Great and more convenient with real-time inventory control.

Summary: Reliable to track all entries in the system.
Cloud based which ensure faster access of financial data from anywhere.
Simple customization.

Positive: It's simple to customize.
Great design and dashboard.
Efficiency with reporting on financials of the business.
Very modern and exemplary with inventory control.

Negative: Exemplary tool with financial management.
Reliable with inventory control.

Summary: The Solver team has been incredibly helpful in meeting our needs throughout implementation and maintenance. Solver products are intuitive and easy to work with.

Positive: The Solver cloud data warehouse has helped our organization to fully utilize the structure of our GL chart of accounts in a meaningful way. Report Designer assists in creating customized, dynamic reports to meet the needs of our organization. Solver has allowed us to make our financial reporting dreams come true while building efficiencies in our processes.

Negative: The Ad Hoc Reporting tool was established to replace the Composer tool. While Ad Hoc Reporting has greatly improved since it was rolled out, it lacks the tenacity and durability of Composer. We also have complaints about data importing steps backward from version 4 to the cloud version. Solver has responded with plans of improvement. If both of these matters are addressed, our rating of this product will be 5 stars.

Summary: First thing to understand is Acumatica is not a tier 1 ERP. There are shortcomings. Having said that, the company releases upgrades twice a year, and they are significant. I have seen added functionalities every single release.

For a mid-size organization we are (between 600 and 1500 employees worldwide, about half of the workforce has an ACM account), we couldn't have bargained for anything else.

Ours is an on-premise solution (conscious choice), so I will skip the next section on Cloud ERP.

Positive: I have been to the NetSuite world, and it is evident that NetSuite won't have survived without a ton of money in marketing the product by Oracle

I never knew about Acumatica till I joined the organization I am in (consumables, in regulated industry).
As a systems person, I am impressed by the four things
- ease of configuration
- role assignment (whoever has used NetSuite knows how painful it is to "switch roles" every single time you have to perform a cross functional task)
- support team that really supports the customer
- learning path (free of cost Acumatica open university; NetSuite is not cheap)

Negative: Some challenges I have seen thus far:

- There is no EDI capability, which means there may be a gap on documents either created or sent over via API/endpoints
- Transportation path is not configurable (or I may not know how to get this one done), which means version control & change management is responsibility of application team/administrator/configurator

Summary: Traditional ERP systems often require users to be physically present in the office or connected to the company's network.

Positive: Acumatica offers a high degree of flexibility, allowing users to customize the software to meet their specific business needs. The system offers a modern and intuitive user experience, reducing the learning curve for new users.

Negative: Implementing Acumatica can be a complex process that requires expertise and planning. The implementation timeline may vary depending on the complexity of the organization's requirements and data migration needs.
