Boardon Description

A web-based preboarding and onboarding experience will impress your new hires. You can set up all onboardings, send out invitations, and follow up with statistics and reports. You can upload files, create quizzes and write articles. You can assign tasks to the newcomer and place them on their timeline. You can then create general or role-specific introduction plans that combine all the content. Not only can you create standard invitation texts and notifications, but each invitation can be personalized. The invitation is sent as an email or to the newcomer's mobile phone. To create a user, you only need to enter your name, email address, and/or phone number. The batch function is very useful for larger companies. There is also an API option that allows automations to be made. Onboarding allows new employees to prepare for their first day and to get to know the company and their job. Handle vital documentation using the download/upload feature included in Boardon.

    Summary: We were surprised by how simple it was to get going and start adding new material and users to the service.

    Positive: Boardon makes it easy to give onboarding a good structure. It is both a tool for formalizing/structure the routines/materials we have, but also to help us develop and professionalize as we grow.
    Amazingly simple to adjust to our look-and-feel and fill with our content.

    Negative: From our perspective all features needed are included, but it is possible that needs could vary according to company size for example.

    Summary: A great simple product that does the job well. I ran a pilot with 15 end users and everything worked as expected. The end users were pleased and had nothing to complain about.

    Negative: Not much to complain about. Maybe I would have liked to edit text directly in the GUI but since you have a preview right beside the editing it's not a big problem.

    A very pleasant surprise

    Summary: Great, useful and easy to use app, good value for the money. We are a mid sized SME with 40 people, and find this extremely useful, but also supportive of our employer branding, as the newcomers really appreciate the effort of taking good care of their onboarding process.

    Positive: The app is really easy to use.
    The whole process is well documented, which makes it easy for a new user to jump in instantly. Features are pretty much what one SME would need.
    The app is quite flexible, and the support is really spot on, takes care of all the issues within 24 hours.

    Negative: Once we started using the program, Serbia was not included in the list of supported countries, which made it difficult for us to use the full potential of the app. Especially the text messaging system, However, once we reached out for support, the matters were resolved in a really timely manner.

    Positive: We love Boardon's ability to be customizable, being in a global company with different needs in different markets being able to have unlimited onboarding plans is a massive plus. What sets Boardon apart from its competitors is the level of support you receive from the team. I love being able to have regular feedback sessions and discussing what our business needs are and how Boardon can support that.

    Negative: Most of the things we don't like about Boardon - little things such as adding a drag and reorder feature functionality has already been addressed in their next update - name another alternative that will do that.
