MyRental is a self-service rental screening tool for anyone with rental listings. To streamline the application process, rental listings can be easily added with "Apply Now" links. This feature is available in the "My Properties" section. The website provides a variety of background reports and services that help to identify high-quality tenants who are more likely than others to pay their rent on time, keep the property safe, and stay longer. MyRental databases are updated seven days a week, 24 hours a days. They also undergo seven layers of quality control to verify and clarify the data.

    Summary: Awful! I'd use a difference service that has good customer service and a reliable software. There are plenty to choose from.

    Positive: When the software works, it gets the job done. provides a report, much like other services that are available.

    Negative: Software has issues. They are not available on weekends. the number that is provided for customer service / help rings non-stop when they are "open". Chat agent is unable to do anything but send "internal messages". Then tells you to call the number for help (despite me telling her I've called 4x).

    Took my $21 and gave me a report with no information

    Summary: You will be very disappointed if you use this company. If a company doesn't stand behind their service, why use them? Too many good companies out there to use one that will only steal from you.

    Positive: Can't come up with anything good about my experience with this company. If you pay for a service and they don't provide it, it is stealing.

    Negative: I ran a background check for a potential tenant and the report came back with no previous addresses, no eviction history and no criminal background report. I basically spent $21 and got nothing. I asked for a refund twice and they did nothing. I ended up using another service and received a full report on the tenant. Do not use this service! They will take your money and give you nothing.
