    Summary: Overall, I can’t imagine running my photography business without HoneyBook. It has changed my business in the best way possible, all those years ago!

    Positive: HoneyBook is where it’s at. I love HoneyBook for all of its features, including contracts with digital signing options, invoicing, scheduling, workflows, and also knowing where each client is at in the booking process.

    Negative: I don’t like that you can’t schedule and then automate a project and file. I wish my clients could schedule and then book all at the same time. I would also like to see a sales page option!

    Summary: Over all best CRM I’ve tried. Don’t have many complaints! Improve the smart files usability and you have 5 stars from me.

    Positive: HoneyBook is a great platform overall. There is a lot of customization and great workflows to help make things easier. The platform on the business owners end is the best I’ve seen and I can easily find all the tools I need. Customer service is great and price is competitive. I feel you get the most tools and features over other CRMs!

    Negative: I don’t like the smart files at all. I find them too confusing and cluttered. It feels like yet another thing I have to hire someone to design for me and it’s slowed down my workflow ever since they’ve changed it. I’d prefer to send contracts and invoices with a simple, clean design with the ability to add at least a logo and brand colors. I don’t need it to look like a brochure or fancy pdf with videos and photos. Plus I hate how the smart files break up my email communication chain on my projects.

    Summary: Overall, their staff and the features of HoneyBook work mode my businesses. It is easy to set up, easy to manage, easy to get help.

    Positive: Integrating HoneyBook into my current systems and processes was extremely simple to do, and works well. They also are dedicated to continually improving the system. Increasing competition in the CRM space built for creative small business owners has only helped accelerate some of these changes.

    Negative: There are limited ways to accept payments from clients compared to other systems, but fee structure is *similar* to (not better than) most payment processors. There are also some minor issues with some emails getting sent to client spam, but showing as “read” in HoneyBook, so it’s difficult to know if a client has actually gotten a message or if you need to follow up.
