    Ooma Office is a must-have for any small business

    Summary: I switched from AT&t to Ooma office for my small business. It was the best decision I ever made. The service is extremely budget-friendly. I love the convenience of not being tethered to the office phone. I can retrieve my voicemails via email. The virtual receptionist feature elevates my business and can provide basic information about my business when I am not able to answer the phone. The app also makes it easy to work remotely, but still use my phone as if I were in the office.

    Positive: The service is very user friendly. The virtual receptionist is a great feature. Budget friendly. Customer service is always quick to respond. Emailed voicemails.

    Negative: No centralized voicemail message hub. The faxing feature leaves a bit to be desired.

    Summary: As I've already noticed, it's a very convenient platform with responsive and friendly technical support. It helps us save money and time. We can always customize accounts to suit our needs and have full control over these settings (100% free access!)

    Positive: 5 months ago, Ooma Office was recommended to our company by colleagues who have been using this software for more than a year. Well, we soon appreciated how convenient the toolbar of this office is! Everything is simple and easy to set up. When you need to make some specific changes, it is done almost instantly. Invoices are also issued without any problems.

    Negative: We've been working with this platform for almost half a year now and have not had any serious problems so far. When there are any difficulties using certain functions, we just contact Ooma technical support and in a few minutes the difficulties are resolved (or the technical support tells us what needs to be done).

    Summary: Overall I am happy with Ooma Office services, it works well for my small business and allows me to make changes myself and quickly.

    Positive: Really easy to use online manager allows me to easily set up my phone service the way I need it. I can update voice messages and change the message when my business is closed. The e-mail voicemails make it easy to check messages from anywhere.

    Negative: I wish that transferring calls was a little simpler. The interface on the phone is not necessarily intuitive for me.

    Summary: Ooma is pretty good and cheaper than having a landline service agreement with a cable or internet company. In the age of tele-working, Ooma has the lead.

    Positive: It is very easy to use and it has saved me money. I also love the application, which allows me to answer my phone wherever I am. I do not have to me stuck at my office to conduct business, since I can call Clients, via the Ooma application, on the go. The virtual assist feature is a plus.

    Negative: The only small con is that the Ooma application can be glitchy at times, but mostly works great!

    Awesome for home and office!

    Summary: I’ve used Ooma for home service at my primary secondary residences for years and am completely satisfied with the call quality, customer service, and cost savings. When I set up a new business enterprise, I naturally looked to Ooma as my telco service provider, and have experienced the same benefits in my work environment that I have for years at home. Overall, it’s a great service from a solid company!

    Positive: The biggest advantages of Ooma:
    * massive cost savings over traditional telco service
    * enhanced capabilities such as checking voicemail online, email call notifications, and having calls ring simultaneously on your mobile device (not forwarded)
    * low cost-of entry for home or office setup

    Negative: The most immediate drawback I see is my phones are now tied to my internet service: if your internet service goes down, so do your phones (and credit card processing at my business as well as anything else dependent upon phone lines). Fortunately, Ooma offers an internet backup option to provide a cellular-based backup solution that is relatively inexpensive. Overall cost is still significantly less than traditional telco service, with all the benefits of a VoIP solution. It’s also worth noting that the Ooma phone equipment is designed to work in tandem with lines / extensions: in other words, you can’t purchase extra wireless VoIP phone devices and have them ring on an existing line without also adding (and paying for) another line. You can mostly work around this by purchasing a standard multi-handset phone and connecting it to the output of an Ooma hub – if your phone has six handsets, all of them ring just like any other phone. I do wish I could simply purchase from Ooma other wireless VoIP phones to use with my existing lines.

    Summary: The pricing is fantastic compared to other services and it's featured rich. I honestly was hesitant about switching systems but it was definitely a good choice. Once you get it completely set up, it's so simple and easy.

    Positive: I love that we don't have to answer the phone every time it rings to answer simple questions such as hours of operation or current sales. With Ooma's virtual receptionist, we can now weed out time consuming calls and only answer the calls looking to book an appointment.

    Negative: The app caused a few problems with our system and my cell phone however once I removed the app we had no more issues with the system. They could benefit from having a training course on using for the 1st time that would be very helpful.
