    Summary: My overall experience is that I love OpenPM for my medical billing business. Super easy and the support team is awesome too!

    Positive: Easy to use and would recommend to anyone needing a PM platform! Even the size of the font makes this system easy to use! Enrollments were easy to do and I love my dashboard.

    Negative: Pricing can be a little confusing at times. Does not have an EHR.
    Would like to have graphs included for A/R analysis, etc.

    Little Features Make a Big Impact

    Summary: Overall I have had a great experience with Open PM. I would recommend this platform for scheduling and billing.

    Positive: A feature that I love is in the Code Tables. The ability to clearly look up and show all the active ICD-10 or CPT codes with the full description is something that I haven't seen on other platforms as well as in Open PM.
    Some of the features that I have loved about Open PM are in the scheduling section. The ability to scroll to see other times in the schedule and all columns scroll to keep the time the same so when I'm looking at lining up multiple appointments for the same day I can see who has availability for one appointment to end and another to begin right away. Another feature that I love is the reschedule queue so the appointment doesn't stay on the schedule when we know that it won't be but we still haven't rescheduled the appointment to another time.
    The Show Me How feature is always really helpful when I need to learn something new about the software. I don't have to call anyone to figure out what I need. The source is always available for what I'm looking for.

    Negative: One thing I would change is in the Patient Dashboard. When expanding an encounter, the columns don't line up with the condensed encounter columns. I wish they would line up to be directly under the correlating column.

    Summary: I use OpenPM daily and I'm thankful to work with a software that makes my job easier! I know a lot of thought goes into this software because all the features are absolutely necessary in an office. Aside from the nice color scheme and design, it is very easy to use. I love that I can schedule patients in just a few seconds.

    Positive: Great design, useful features, and very easy to use! I love how quickly you can schedule appointments for patients.

    Negative: OpenPM has no cons! Perfect as is, no change is needed.

    Summary: I didn't know much about billing before using this system but it was so user friendly and easy to navigate that out of all the EMR systems I use for our different clients, this is the one I prefer because there are less hoops to jump through to find or adjust and bill.

    Positive: Everything is so keyboard friendly I hardly need to use the mouse and I love you can customize the colors.

    Negative: This past year it did seem like there was a lot of system outages so it did make working frustrating but I don't believe that has happened in a bit.

    Easy to Maneuver

    Summary: My overall experience has been great compared to other PM systems. Open is by far easier to maneuver through and makes it easy to work all parts of billing.

    Positive: Ease of the system. Accessibility to move around through the patients account with ease. Posting made easy.

    Negative: There's not much to not like. The only thing that may become tedious is that it doesn't save filter parameters so when you come back to a work list or batch list, you do have to manually put those in every time.

    Thanks for your review Katie! You can save filters in worklists permanently (similar to saving report criteria). Look for the save button next to the filter criteria.     Summary: Overall, I am very happy with OpenPM. It is a major upgrade from the system we were using before and has made parts of my job less stressful.

    Positive: I like how I can personalize the system, it brings color to my workspace. I like the ease at which I can navigate through my posting screens to patient dashboard, etc. I like how if a mistake is made, the error can usually be undone and then redone correctly.

    Negative: The system tends to lag a lot when someone in our company is posting a large check. This affects everyone in the office as well as our remote employees.

    Positive: I like the option of Customizable colors so that you can change up the look as often as you like. I also like that there is lots of keyboard shortcuts to get places.

    Excellent Efficient & Intuitive Practice Management Software

    Summary: I have implemented multiple practice management products over the last 29 years. I can say without any hesitation that OpenPM is far superior to any other PM product I've used. It works seamlessly with our EMR, is efficient and very intuitive. I was very fortunate to have an amazing trainer in Darlene which made my experience even that much better.

    Positive: Open PM makes the tediousness of billing and posting incredibly efficient. It is beyond intuitive and saves me countless hours of extra work. The reporting is concise and easy to use. We have not had any issues with speed as it is cloud based. We could not be anymore pleased and would highly recommend this product without hesitation.

    Negative: There is a rather large learning curve but considering the efficiency of the product it is so worth it.
    My only regret is that we didn't know about this program years ago.

    Summary: 9/10 experience with OpenPM. I wish when you generated a ledger it looked nicer since sometimes that is shared with patients and we want it to be professional looking.

    Positive: OpenPM makes it easy to view billing information for my practice. I use it daily and rarely run into any bugs or issues.

    Negative: I wish it looked more modern. But it’s a great example of function over form.

    Summary: I think overall it is a pretty good product. I can navigate it quickly and its pretty clear. It provides the information needed to check in and out patients.

    Positive: It is pretty easy to navigate the site which makes it very user friendly. I also like the layout of the site. I like you can scan ID and insurance cards directly into it.

    Negative: It crashes very often. I'm not sure if its our system of the program, but it tends to spin a lot.

    Software review for OpenPM

    Summary: For the most part I have been pleased with the software and ALL it can do. There are still so many things that I feel I can learn from OpenPM. I am confident with the new help center, that I can find all the answers I need. The articles are very detailed and thorough.

    Positive: I think this software has checked all the boxes for billing from start to finish. I am most impressed by the clearinghouse turnaround time. We are getting our claims processed and paid within a week. So many features available and the functionality is very user friendly.

    Negative: Communications between departments and users could be better. The interface issues that became apparent on our statements still have some kinks to work out. It is a "work in progress" but I am confident that we will get there.
