    Game Changer Software for NEMT

    Summary: The RouteGenie Software has been a game changer for our company. We are located in rural southern Minnesota, which can be a bit of a logistical nightmare. Before finding RouteGenie we used a computer data base, paper schedules, and push to talk cell phones. Arranging and managing our schedules, basically by hand, was extremely time consuming, and costly. It was difficult to find anyone willing to do them anymore. Communicating ride instructions to drivers, by voice, was frustrating. Dispatchers would have to repeat themselves over and over again all day. Our server based software chained us to the office. Working from home, or remote, was only a dream. We spent about 5 years trying software after software. Nothing had everything we needed. It seemed hopeless. When we found RouteGenie we were amazed. From the start, the look and layout of the software is so user friendly, and just NICE to stare at. Entering rides is a breeze, especially ongoing rides. The driver app is so simple and effortless. Drivers who've never used an app or computer have zero issues with it, and the navigation is a huge bonus. The dispatch and driver shifts portion of the software make it easy for our staff to locate and track the drivers. The customers love the auto notification system. No more wondering where everyone is, and how much longer until they arrive. Management appreciates the ability to filter information and create custom reports in numerous ways. They also love that RouteGenie allows our office staff to work from home. Being short staffed due to bad weather, a car that won't start, or a daycare that's closed is no longer an issue for us or the staff. It is seriously a WIN WIN. There is a lot more to love about RouteGenie, but most important is their staff. RouteGenie takes the time to listen to their customers. They continue to improve the company, their people, and their product. We are ever grateful for them.

    Summary: We made both the financial and time investment in order to improve our dispatching productivity, to gain better insight into our business, and to be able to better scale our business for future growth. We've already seen the benefits and have yet to touch on some of the system's more value added functionality. We are really excited to partner with RouteGenie as we continue to expand our business.

    Positive: Love the flexibility and detail that RouteGenie provides. The PreAssign functionality has reduced our scheduling time from hours to just minutes. We've been live now for just over four months and have barely yet touched on some of the system's value added functionality and advanced reporting tools. With these additional tools, we are looking forward to being able to better analyze our business trends and KPIs, as well as better utilize route optimization functionality to reduce our overall costs.

    Negative: I felt like the training was a little rushed. The software is so powerful and so much more well rounded than our former system, that it was hard to comprehend all the functionality. I feel we might have been better served by spreading out the immediate needs training at the beginning of our implementation, then having a separate later training session for reporting and value added functionality after we had become comfortable with the basic system.

    Great software for any size NEMT operation

    Summary: Best dispatching software on the market by far. They improve with every update, adding even more reasons to use it.

    Positive: Highly customizable software with many features.

    Lots of great add-ons, even automated calling to remind people of their appointments and pickup times.

    Best part is their customer service team, they are very responsive and receptive to suggestions.

    Summary: Overall, we have enjoyed working with RouteGenie. The customer service is fantastic. Anytime I have had an issue, it just took a few minutes on the phone to get it sorted out.

    Positive: I love being able to call up and speak to an actual person when I am having issues. The software is easy to use.

    Negative: The routing is not always accurate. Typically it will tell you it take significantly longer to get somewhere than it does and even if you put the address is google, it will tell you it does not take that long.

    Very intelligent software on the market.

    Summary: Switching to RouteGenie I finally got free time for myself and my family and my business still growing even in pandemic situation.

    Positive: The best is Routing and dispatching. This guys have automated dispatch which can handle multi loads in real time and recognizing all deviation and give me an alerts in many different situations. Very powerful custom reporting system. And billing is very accurate and automated. I can create any type of billing within a second if I need to if I need something complicated their support very helpful and get me a respond on a spot. Strongly recommend this software.

    Great software for the cost

    Summary: RouteGenie is not the easiest software to use but it has a lot of features to offset the complexity. The low cost is also great from small market companies. I have compared multiple solutions and RouteGenie is by far the most cost effective solution. Melissa is on top of the support requests and is always extremely helpful.

    Positive: Low cost, great features, multiple broker integrations, and is Mobile friendly (my company is always working on the go)

    Negative: Can be complicated, will depend on your businesses workflow. I had to make a few changes on how we operate to make the software work for us.

    Summary: We like using RouteGenie. We are managing our costs more efficiently because of RouteGenie. However, learning the system was extremely challenging. Overall, the system is very well built and helps us out a lot daily. I wish there was a way to copy information in bookings from previous bookings.

    Reporting is very accurate and efficient.
    Software is easy to use, once you use it.
    The brain of RouteGenie makes sense and helps with cost efficiencies.

    Negative: Learning how to use the software is A LOT.

    Summary: This system has potential if the company was worried about improving their system rather than gouging their existing customers for all they have. The base is there but they need major improvement.

    Positive: The user interface is okay. The customization ability is great and allows for more control. The user help system is detailed and helpful.

    Negative: Everything comes with a price. Trip imports should be standard or at least give customers the ability to design their own templates. The app rarely works and needs an overhaul. Phone support is spotty. The lack of navigational functions as well as traffic alerts makes this system sub standard to other NEMT software.
