Negative: Occasionally the system may be slow which can cause decrease in speed of completing tasks.

Summary: Overall, Device 42 is an asset management tool for all the IT needs. It helps in keeping track of large amount of data center.

Positive: The best feature of Device 42 is that it is highly customizable and flexible in terms of integration with other software programs.
The user interface of the software is designed in such a way that it displays all the necessary data in an organized manner.
It offers various pre-defined reports and built-in dependency mapping topologies that cut down the input time and increases the overall productivity.

Negative: The user interface and the graphics used in the software feels a bit outdated in use.

Summary: In general, this product is great to work with and has scaled with our business needs. It was very helpful to have during the Covid-19 lock downs.

Positive: Device42 is a great software product that our business team really requires to work on a day to day basis. It is very helpful and really increases productivity.

Negative: Not many issues specifically with the product or software. There could be some more functionality built into the product.

Positive: The Room, Rack, and Device model layouts are some of the best features in Device 42. Very much a lightweight Visio for building server rooms, cable diagrams, and rack elevation diagrams for ones IT companies.

Negative: The UI is a bit dated, lacks modern graphic elements like one we need for a pure data center operations.

Summary: I had a good experience using Device42 - i would recommend it mostly due to its customizability + its support staff.

Positive: I like how customizable and versatile of an infrastructure platform Device42 is. The support is better than its peers.

Negative: It can feel slow at times/somewhat laggy, due to how central it is.

Summary: Over all I can say that its a very productive tool. In my entire career I have work with many tools but this one is really amazing. I have always recommend this tool to everyone.

Positive: I have been working on this tool since long time. It a very efficient and reliable tool. It gives a good user experience to the user.

Negative: Nothing much to write. But if possible try to make some changes or upgradation in the user interface.

It is extremely easy to learn and put to use, and the product Support has been excellent.

It also helps providing accurate picture of an IT ecosystem.

Negative: Though it is really helpful and efficient, still it is missing a few features and not all systems are supported for automated discoveries.

Summary: Overall, Device42 is a great CMDB tool and comes with lots of features and functionalities. It is easy to use and has a simple UI.

Positive: -The autodiscovery feature comes in very handy in keeping track o a virtual machine.
-It is very easy to install, use and create the backup.
-Good layout of reporting and job scheduling.

Negative: -There is no feature to change themes and customize the dashboard.

Summary: Device42 is a solution which has issued us with ways to manage and facilitate all the IT infrastructures in a company. In case of a problem to any one of them, the developer issues an alarm.

Positive: Device42 conducts a quick scan on all the IT related infrastructures, be them hardware or software.
Also, Device42 ensures there is easy maintenance, and replacement.

Negative: Device42 is a sensitive application, which requires some expertise, and knowledge. Probably, users training can be effective.

Summary: Overall experience is very good. I always recommend this application to others. I know it's not free but there is a free trial available.

Positive: Device 42 is very good for IT asset management and checking also.
It is very easy to use and their implementation is also very easy.
They provides great support to users.

Negative: Personally I never noticed any big or serious cons. But in my opinion there is only one con. i.e- It is not free.

Summary: I was hesitant at first to make the move from my current IT system. The free trial put my mind at ease and made it an easy decision.

Positive: That is was able to integrate with my current IT infrastructures with ease.

Negative: I have yet to run into a con, I was thankful for the chat option on the website if I ever had an issue. The customer service team made it easy.

Summary: Very easy to use compared to some of its competitor's platforms and software. The auto-discovery function is great in pulling everything into the system by itself, saving countless hours of work! The pricing is also very affordable and the platform is easy to use.

Negative: -Wish it had CMMS options like ServiceNow so we could completely switch over platforms.

Summary: Overall Device42 has so many pros its hard to recommend anything else. The learning curve is tricky but theres a free trial, so it's a win win.

Positive: I like Device42's ability to discover, map, and optimize infrastructure and the accurate views of an IT ecosystem. Device 42 is also excellent at smartly grouping discovered workloads by application.

Negative: Don't like the learning curve that it takes to implement this software. Of course theres plenty of other that are way harder it's still tough.

Summary: Using a single software to manage all your data is definitely worth paying all the money and struggle. Especially for a robust software designed by experts. It provides great insights in computation and data analysis.

Positive: It is a good application with a wide variety of features to help you in managing data centers. It is robust and designed very carefully for effective and efficient output. The support is very good too.

Negative: It is very expensive and the price is based on the number of devices and IP addresses.
